The Company was founded by J. David Lowell, Executive Chairman and director, Catherine E. McLeod Seltzer, director, David E. De Witt, Vice President of Corporate Development and director, Luis J. Baertl and A. Geoffrey Loudon, who are responsible for, among other things, contributing to the growth of the Company through the development of the Toromocho Project in Peru. | | | Gerald Wolfe Position: President, Chief Executive Officer
Since 2005, Mr. Wolfe has been the President and CEO of Compañia Minera Antamina, one of the world's largest producers of copper and zinc. The Antamina mine, which has many similarities to Peru Copper's developing Toromocho copper deposit, is a large, high altitude complex polymetallic skarn deposit in Northern Peru that in 2005 produced over 370,000 tonnes of copper and 184,000 tonnes of zinc as well as lead and molybdenum concentrates. Mr. Wolfe's responsibilities included profit and loss, production, regulatory and financial compliance, marketing, business development, and government and community relations. Mr. Wolfe was Antamina's Vice President of Operations prior to his promotion to President and CEO. As VP of Operations he managed and improved mine and concentrator operations as well as safety following a complex and challenging startup period. Mr. Wolfe holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mining Engineering from Queen's University in Kingston, Ontario and has close to 30 years of experience in the mining industry including operations in North America, South America and Europe.

| | | H. Eric Peitz Position: Chief Financial Officer
Since 1998 Mr. Peitz has been employed by Doe Run Peru S.R.L (Lima, Peru), an international natural resource company focused on the mining, smelting, recycling and fabrication of metals. Most recently he was the Vice President of Finance and Administration where he was responsible for all accounting, budgeting, tax, and treasury functions, strategic planning and logistics. He was also involved in regional and national Peruvian government negotiations regarding environmental and social issues. Mr. Peitz is a Certified Public Accountant with a Master of Business Administration in Finance from the University of Colorado, Colorado Springs, Colorado and a Bachelor of Science in Engineering from the United States Military Academy, West Point, New York.

| | | Angel Alvarez Position: Exploration Manager
After more than 30 years with Centromin, Minera Peru and Cerro de Pasco Mining Company in Peru, Mr. Alvarez joined MPCS as Exploration Manager for the Toromocho Project. Mr. Alvarez was previously General Manager of Centromin from June 1998 until May 2000, and was Manager of Operations for Centromin from September 1996 to May 1998. Mr. Alvarez holds a Masters of Science degree from Montana School of Mines and has published several papers regarding geology in Peru, including one on the Toromocho deposit. Mr. Alvarez has also provided consulting services to several mining companies in Peru.

| | | Armando Arrieta Position: Director of Peruvian Legal Affairs
Mr. Arrieta is a partner of Estudio Muñiz, Ramírez, Pérez-Taiman & Luna Victoria, a leading law firm in Peru, where he is in charge of the Mining and Environmental Law. He graduated from the Catholic University of Lima, Peru in 1987 with a law degree. In 1988 he earned a Master's Degree in International Law, also from Catholic University. In 1996, he earned a Masters of Business Administration from the Graduate School of Business Administration at Catholic University. Mr. Arrieta has worked for Southern Peru Copper Corp. and American Barrick Peru S.A., and also for the Ministry of the Presidency, the Ministry of Industries and the Ministry of Justice of Peru. He has also taught administrative law and international law at the Catholic University of Peru.
